A design for a single-story house whose simple form and gable roof have a positive impact on construction costs, and whose carefully organized functional layout guarantees comfortable use. The façade consists of an elegant composition of white and graphite-colored plaster with natural cladding. Thanks to the cleverly arranged glazing, the interior is flooded with light and flows seamlessly into the garden. The terrace, covered with a wooden pergola, has space for a summer dining area as well as a coffee or seating area. The living area is wide open to the garden, and the sliding glass front provided for in the design ensures fluid communication and greater design options for the interior. The functional kitchen has a large island with a comfortable work surface and a breakfast bar, as well as practical, tall built-in cabinets. The kitchen has direct access to the terrace, which allows for efficient transport of prepared food outside. The private part of the house comprises a master bedroom in the form of an apartment with a dressing room and bathroom, two children’s rooms, a study opening onto the garden, and a shared, naturally lit bathroom. The gas boiler room provided for in the design also serves as a laundry room, and the section separated by a sliding door houses spacious storage cupboards.
